Hi All,
I went for my pre-op appointment yesterday and found out that if I want, I can wait to have my surgery until late May and have it at the new surgicenter in Tempe. This would certainly be easier for me since I live in Gilbert.
I was originally scheduled to have it April 15th. I had my self psyched up for it but after hearing that I could have it closer to home I'm not so sure. My thinking is that if (God forbid) I have any complications I would probably end up being admitted in north Phoenix, which would be burdensome for my family. My mom, who would accompany me, says she doesn't care either way.
So, is it worth the wait? Am I considering waiting because I'm chicken?
Any insight will be very valuable to me!
