Dr. Michael J. Orris,
D.O., M.B.A., F.A.S.M.B.S.

Dr. Orris completed his surgical residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from St. Joseph’s University. As a surgeon, he recognized the negative impact that excess weight has on society, and developed a passion for helping patients attain and maintain a healthy body weight.

Dr. John James DeBarros

Dr. John DeBarros is a partner and one of the lead surgeons at the Weight Loss Institute of Arizona. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

He is a member of The American College of Surgeons, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. DeBarros completed his degree and surgical residency in general surgery at the University of Connecticut. Dr. DeBarros also completed a prestigious fellowship in colorectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Florida.
